This is the starting point for a novice chainsaw user starting out in the professional field. This five-day course will teach you everything you need to know about using a chainsaw, assessment takes place on a separate day.

Lantra Chainsaw maintenance and crosscutting level 2

This is one of the starting points for a novice chainsaw user starting out in the professional field. This two-day course will teach you everything you need to know about the maintenance of a chainsaw and how to operate when crosscutting, assessment takes place on a separate day.

Lantra felling and process trees up to 380mm level 2

This three-day course is for novice operators with limited or no felling experience, assessment takes place on a separate day, and you must have previously obtained the level 2 Chainsaw maintenance and crosscutting to enrol on this course.

Lantra chainsaw maintenance and cross cutting

This is a perfect introduction to expertly handling and maintaining a chainsaw. Learn to operate a chainsaw with this two-day (ITA) assessed training course. Suitable for occasional users i.e. Gardeners, landowners, greenkeepers, farmers etc. This course is for those who don't wish to do the Regulated assessment for a license to practice and has an integrated assessment.

Lantra chainsaw maintenance, cross-cutting and basic felling up to 200mm

Learn the basics of chainsaw operation with this four-day assessed training course. Suitable for occasional users i.e. Gardeners, landowners, greenkeepers etc.

Lantra Brushcutters/Trimmers

This two-day Brushcutter/Trimmer integrated training and assessed course is suitable for novice users to learn how to use the brush cutter/trimmer safely and with confidence. Understanding all the relevant regulations and safety requirements is key. You'll be taught the need for the correct protective clothing and how best to maintain a safe working environment. Please note the expected duration for the course is two days. However, this may vary according to your level of experience, the certificate options selected, or the ratio of instructors to learners.
